Why is this here?
nsDig will provide utilities to get DNS information via the web and hopefully look up other information. It will be completely free, but may contain some form of advertising once it is up and running.
Why is this called nsDig?
nsDig is named after the "Domain Information Groper" or "dig" command which is used to look up "Name Server" information (hence the "NS"). If you like puns, you can also think of this as a site for "digging up" DNS information.
